The Ontario government has committed $47.2 million to a shared building in the VMC that will house a York Region District School Board elementary school and a York Catholic District School Board elementary school, plus a licensed child care centre. Together the two schools create 1,134 student spaces. YRDSB planning documents list the site as a joint-use project, and the site is being acquired. Kleinburg and Northwest Vaughan
